Glasses chosen with care
The optical team at Nasir Ahmed Opticians dispenses prescription glasses and sunglasses, with lenses measured and frames adjusted to fit you.
How do I choose the right glasses?
Good glasses depend on three things: an accurate prescription, lenses that suit how you use your eyes, and a frame that fits your face. A dispensing optician helps you choose a frame, takes measurements such as the distance between your pupils, and recommends lens types for your work and lifestyle.
Lens options include single vision, varifocal lenses for distance and near, office lenses for screen work, anti-reflection coatings and tinted or polarised sunglass lenses. If you are eligible for an NHS optical voucher, it can be used towards the cost of your glasses.

Who is it for?
